Here I have LG Xmatch and let me show you how to create a WiFi hotspot from the following device

At first let's start by using a home screen. Let's tap settings, choose networks and here you have to scroll down and under connectivity

let's choose Tethering. Then let's choose WiFi hotspot right here, let's tap it

You can enable WiFi hotspot by using that switcher right here. You have to enter a password, let me just use 1234 for example, 56 and A. Tap save

And as you can see here you've got the connected devices list, you've got a timeout option

so you can switch off the hotspot after 5 minutes for example

You may also set up some other stuff such as the WiFi name, the security type, the password
