Here I have my phone Hammer NRG and let me show you how to set a screen lock on the following device

At the very beginning let's tap apps icon, find and select settings

Then let's scroll down to personal tab and choose security. Afterwards you have to select screen lock and now you have to decide whether you would

like to choose none, swipe, pattern, voice unlock, pin or password. In my case let me select pattern

You have to drop your unlock pattern so let me do it. Let's tap continue

You have to drop your pattern again just for confirmation. Let's do it

Tap confirm. Then you have to choose your form of notification. You can select show all notification content, hide sensitive notification or don't show
