Welcome. In front of me is a realme 7i and today I'll show you how to enable the power
0:12
saving mode. And to get started, all you need to do is pull down the notification panel
0:18
expand it and find the toggle for it. Hopefully it's somewhere here. Oh, there we go. So you
0:23
can see power saving mode. Once you find it, simply click on it and it automatically will
0:28
become enabled, which you can also see based on the, I believe the color of the battery
0:34
changes or it should. But yeah, anyway, once it's enabled, there will be one thing or a
0:44
couple of things that will happen, which are not really disclosed right here, which will
0:49
include basically your internet connection. So that being said, what I mean by that is
0:57
for instance, you rely on notifications from like Facebook or basically any kind of application
1:01
that requires a stable internet connection. So you can receive those notifications. You
1:06
can forget about it and power saving mode, because what happens is when you do this
1:11
like the device, the device will go to sleep as normal. But what it does now is disconnect
1:16
from wifi and mobile data to preserve battery. And basically because of this, you won't be
1:22
receiving any kind of notifications that would require internet connections. And that is
1:26
because, well, you don't have internet connections at the moment. The way you do receive those
1:32
updates is basically by waking up the device. So you do have to wake it up and then it will
1:37
automatically reconnect to those networks and basically look for all the updates and
1:43
deliver them to you. So if you're experiencing some kind of problems with that, that is because
1:48
of the power saving mode. Now, additionally, apart from enabling the power saving mode
1:54
you could turn off certain toggles that are consuming your battery, which power saving
1:59
mode does not actually enable or disable. So number one would be the location services
2:06
You can disable them. They're unnecessary, especially if you're trying to preserve battery
2:11
So that's one. Number two, wifi, mobile data. If you need one or the other, disable the
2:18
one that you don't need. Additionally, if you have some kind of NFC, you can disable
2:24
it. Bluetooth, again, disable it. And one of the probably biggest battery draining things
2:30
is the brightness. So if you don't need your phone to be maxed out bright, you can drop
2:35
it to whatever is comfortable for you or even lower. The lower you go, the more battery
2:40
you will get. And the battery that you get from the brightness is quite significant
2:46
So do remember that. And yeah, now that being said, once you're done with it, you can bring
2:51
back everything to how it was before. Or if you just only decided to double in the
2:56
power saving toggle, then simply double that again to turn it off. But that being said
3:02
this is how you would enable the power saving mode. And if you found this video helpful
