Hello in this video I want to show you how to set up Merc-UC's router for the first time
0:10
And to do this first thing is to look on the router and all of the slots we need to
0:18
plug in the power cord and then power cord to the power source obviously
0:25
Then we have WAN and here you will need to plug in your main internet source
0:31
Then there's three Ethernet slots that you can connect your PC with for wired connection
0:39
now I'll be connecting and setting it up with my smartphone and with the Wi-Fi connection and
0:46
it goes like this, it's pretty much the same on PC and You just need to open the specific things that I'm talking about now
0:57
If you're connecting it using wired connection, you can skip the Wi-Fi step and here we need to open a Wi-Fi settings
1:07
Refresh available networks Scroll down and here's our router and we can pick either 5G network or
1:17
2.4 band and if As you can see, they're not protected by the password. There's no lock next to them
1:26
so that means we don't need to answer it, but in case your Network is protected by a password. You should be able to find it on the sticker underneath or if there's no password
1:37
There's only SSID MAC address and serial number then look on the reset button right there
1:44
Click and hold it for around 20 seconds and it will reset your router and you should see the
1:50
Networks without any password to access them So now it's connected and
1:59
Or actually it's not Okay, now it is and there's no internet since I've haven't connected any internet source to the router, but it still goes the same way
2:10
So now I'm gonna open my browser And here in new tab we need to enter the
2:24
Configuration website, which is default access nwlogin.net. Let's try that one And
2:49
First thing you'll see is to create your password for the router and I'm gonna go with one two, three, four five six
2:59
One two, three four five and six so this needs to be at least six digits and
3:10
Using the combination of numbers and symbols, so Let's try that. Maybe it will work without any. Okay, it works fine
3:17
Then we need to enter our username and password provided by our ISP
3:25
So this could be admin admin we're gonna check Okay, so the default username and password is admin admin, but if this doesn't work then you will need to
3:35
check for Ask your provider for the exact credentials Now we need to set up the password for both of our networks
3:47
5G and 2.4 and Let's do that With the numbers and if they need to be at least eight digits
4:03
Next click on finish And
4:14
Now we need to create a password for our network And
4:31
Okay, I've actually clicked on finished but nothing is happening Let's just wait or try to refresh a page Oh
4:50
Because it just changed to the Wi-Fi Sorry for that let's just we try to
4:58
Connect to the router and then go back to the website and refresh
5:05
Because we need okay, I'm very sorry I forgot so after we entered the password for our Wi-Fi, you will need to go back to your Wi-Fi connection and
5:17
Enter the password for it And to do that we'll need to forget it
5:34
So it was one two, three, four five six seven eight connect
5:40
and go back and Here it should actually work. Yep. It works fine. And that is how you set up this router for the first time
5:50
there was some issues, but We've managed to do it and that's it for this video. Hope you like it
