Welcome, Efnanim is a CAD S52 and today I'll show you how to transfer files from the internal
0:10
storage to an SD card and vice versa. And to get started we will need to open up the File Explorer app which is right here
0:18
Files, the blue icon. Tap on it and let's tap on the three bars right here and you should see both storages
0:27
and if you only see one as I am right now, tap on the three dots right here and choose
0:33
Show Internal Storage and there we go, now we can see both of them
0:38
So from here we're going to go to the internal storage and give you a brief overview where
0:43
you can find each part of the phone. So this CIM folder will contain all the photos, videos that you have captured with the device
0:52
as you can see, that is also where the files that I'll be using for the example are located
0:59
Then Pictures will contain screenshots, also you can see them here. And then last thing that you can, well most commonly used is the Downloads folder which
1:12
will contain any kind of file that you have downloaded either using a web browser, email
1:17
anything downloaded will be here. And the rest of the folders usually have files that you have placed there yourself
1:23
so you will most likely know that they are located in there
1:28
And same folders, meaning the DCIM, Pictures, Podcasts, whatever, these folders need to
1:34
be created. They will also be created on the SD card as well, although here we have only right now
1:41
Android and the other folder right here. Just because the phone didn't have any need to save anything on the SD card
1:51
So going back to my pictures which I will be using as an example here
1:58
Number one, we want to select our files. So we can do it a couple of different ways
2:02
I can select either the file itself, and if it's one, for instance one picture or one
2:08
file all you need to do is hold it and get selected as you can see
2:13
And you can simply tap on additional ones if you want to select more
2:17
Now if you're going to be selecting a decent amount of them, let's say 10+, probably it's
2:24
going to be easier for you to tap on the three dots and go select all and then deselect the
2:30
ones that you don't want, like so. Or if you want to move all of them you could also go back and select the entire folder
2:39
with all of its content. So this will probably be the most organized way of doing it
2:45
Now once you have selected whatever it is that you wanted to, tap on the three dots
2:50
and you will have the two options, either copy to or move to
2:54
Now depending on which one you choose the outcome might be a little bit different. So if you choose to copy you will create a duplicate file of it
3:00
So the four photos for instance as I have right now will stay where they are right now
3:05
and I will create a new one and a new location that will be exactly the same
3:11
So I'll move to will remove it from where it is right now and move it to a new location
3:17
Select whichever one fits your need. I'm going to go with move and from here we want to go to our location where we want to
3:26
move them. So again tap on the three bars right here and go to either your phone or SD card
3:32
Now for me the files were on the phone so I'm going to move it to the SD card as an example
3:37
So you just tap on your SD and you will be in the main directory of the card and you
3:43
can either place it right here or you could also create a folder if you wanted to by tapping
3:47
new folder. I won't really bother. I'm just going to tap move and you can see that it gets removed from here and if I go
3:55
to the SD card now it has another folder called camera with the four photos in here
4:03
And the same process will work for any kind of file. So if you found this video helpful don't forget to like, subscribe and thanks for watching
