Welcome. In front of me is an Infinix Hot 40i and today I'll show you how we can enable power saving mode on this phone

So to get started we're gonna pull down our notifications by swiping down from the top of the screen

and then I'll swipe down once more to extend the list of visible toggles

Here we're looking for power saving mode which might not actually be here

but I am checking it just in case. So yeah, it looks like it's not added though

I'm gonna edit switches right here. Below you will most likely find, there we go, Ultra Power Saver

So this is not really what we want but I'm still gonna showcase because it is a power saving mode of sorts

So this one is way more egregious compared to the typical traditional power saving mode

So anyway, enabling it. Select, enable Ultra Power Saver. As you can see it gives you applications that will be added to your home screen in this mode

It also gives you the estimated battery life. So at 63% we are getting basically a little over one day of battery life

So select, enable, enable. Give it a second. It also pops up with the location

I'm just gonna select cancel and there we go, that's our home screen. With three options, Wi-Fi, data and location and the five different applications that were listed there that you could have changed

and a way to leave this mode. So this mode is designed primarily for power saving as much as it can

So let's close that up and I'm also gonna show you the more traditional power saving mode

which isn't as easily accessible as this egregious one which is kind of odd

I prefer to be the other way around but unfortunately it's not. So in here we're looking for battery section

Got battery settings right over here. And here we have the battery saving settings

You can see that the filling of the battery changes the color to signify that the battery saver is right now enabled

And that's about it. Now once you close this page and you want to get rid of the power saving mode

you need to re-navigate back into this battery section and turn it off from there
