Hi everyone, in front of me I've got Xiaomi 12 Pro and let me share with you how to block

a number on this device. So basically we've got two different ways to block a number

The first one is using directly our contact list, so the number we've got currently saved

and the second is using let's say the dialer settings and there we will be able to add

it manually so we do not have to have it saved. And of course I'll show you both

So let's begin maybe with the contact list. Let's open your contacts, find the contact you'd like to block and tap on it

Now let's tap on this three dots icon in the right upper corner and tap on block numbers

Your device will of course ask you if you really want to block a number because you

will no longer receive any incoming calls or text messages from it

I don't want to report it as a spam also so I will untick this option and if you're ready

just tap on block. And as you can see we've got the info here, what's more we've got this characteristic

icon which will show us that we just successfully blocked this number and of course you can

unblock it from this tab also. Just tap on the three dots icon again and tap on unblock numbers

So now we can go back to the contacts and the second way of blocking a number requires

And as you can see in the general section on the third position we've got blocked numbers

so this is the option we're looking for. Let's tap on it and here we've got our blacklist and that's the number we just blocked from
