Welcome, and follow me, I have the Techno Spark 20C, and today all go of unboxing along with a quick look at the device
0:12
So let's just get straight into it. back on here. Anyway, I'm going to set it to the side for now
0:50
So that's basically everything that we get in the box. Now, going quickly into it
0:56
we have a charger, which is 18 watts, if that wasn't visible, we have a case a Type C to type A charging cable along with wired headphones that use a typical 3.5
1:06
millimeter jack, which that means that the device has a headphone jack, which is something
1:12
that people might not even remember how it looks like. In any case, let's start off with the display which you should be able to see in a second
1:21
That is a 6.6 inch display running a resolution of 720 by 1612 pixels
1:29
It's about 267 pixels per inch with an 84% screen to body ratio
1:35
It's an APS-IPS LCD display running at a 90-hertz refresh rate. So the display right here is budget
1:44
And honestly, the 84% screen-to-body ratio seems a little bit exaggerated, considering these bezels are a bit massive
1:55
bigger than what I would expect from an 84%. So, and in any case
2:03
let's flip it over to the back where we get our double camera setup. So the main sensor right here is a 50 megapixel white sensor
2:11
and in reality, that is the only camera that you have on here. It was a PDAF and can record at 1080p 30 frames
2:18
Now below that, we have something that is basically considered a middle finger from techno
2:24
which is a 0.0.08 megapixel auxiliary lens. I don't even know what that's supposed to be an auxiliary lens
2:35
Obviously at this megapixel it serves no purpose apart from just getting a middle finger from the company
2:40
that adds it on their phone. And it's there just to fill up the back
2:45
because you know apparently phones look better with triple circles rather than single or two of them I not sure what is this stupid kind of logic Because let be honest even a device can have that you know skip out on that
3:01
So this is a 1 plus 12R and the R doesn't stand for what you probably might think
3:06
It stands for a decision-making, which is adding a 2-megapixel macro lens on a 50-minute
3:15
where you already have a 50-megapixel. wide sensor. It is absolutely stupid
3:21
And same goes here for the 0.0 8 megapix. What is what are you supposed to even do with this
3:29
It's honestly completely useless. You can grab a hammer smash it out and
3:35
value of the device shouldn't drop a single cent because that camera serves absolutely no purpose
3:41
Now at the front we have an 8 megapixel sensor. so it doesn't actually state what kind of recordings you can do so i assume it's below 1080p 30 frames
3:52
now continuing on into the internals we have a 5,000 million power battery with the 18 watt charger
3:59
meaning that your device can charge basically as quick as a Samsung fold fantastic
4:06
and costs about a tenth of a price now it is also powered by a media tech processor do let's
4:14
see if I can find what it is. No, I cannot. See it on the box maybe. No, I cannot, apparently
4:26
I have a display, camera, sensors, NFC. Yeah, there is no info about the processor apart from the
4:40
info that it's mediatic. So, that is kind of a scam. anyway considering not knowing what the processor is it's kind of like you can get
4:50
the shittiest thing in the phone and not know about it see if I can find any
4:57
other info about it it would be very informative to know what the processor is now I
5:05
will add this is a basically a hundred dollar device so we should tone down
5:13
our expectations though I would still like to know what the processor is
5:17
There we go. It's a Helio G36 processor. And comes with 8 gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of storage
5:28
That is the higher spec. You also have the 4 gigs of RAM and 128 storage
5:32
So it really depends which one you go for. Now, another thing that I'm going to check is the tray
5:43
There we go So we have expendable storage You can pop in an SD card, so you don't need to worry about the low 120KK storage version right here
5:55
And you also have two different dedicated spots for two SIM cards, which is also pretty nice
6:02
So there we go. Now this honestly sums up the device. One last thing that I'm going to go over is the build quality
6:09
and things like the fingerprint sensor is basically doubling as a power button right here
6:15
Plastic frame. This is what I probably assume is an eco-letter or whatever they're calling it
6:21
It says plastic bag, but I don't think it's correct, considering this doesn't feel plastic-y
6:29
This is more like they said eco-letter, which is what I would assume
6:33
Let's see if there's anything also in the box. Where's the top of it
6:36
There we go. Does it say? No, it does not. Okay. So in any case, like I said
6:47
this should be something like a leather. If it's plastic still, it does feel nice to the touch
6:54
It's not plasticy. It's kind of a little bit soft, so take that as it is
6:59
Now, like I said, we also have a plastic frame and glass front
7:04
I don't see any info about what the actual front is. if it's like corner gorilla glass victors or anything like that so i have no clue
7:12
uh but obviously it's a basically a hundred dollar device so i wouldn't expect anything like
7:17
substantial oh i hate this i do want to point out something uh right here i got scammed by this
7:27
right now um so it says 120 gigabytes of storage and eight gigabytes of ram which is basically
7:34
company showing you this because if you look right here this This is the actual spec
7:40
It's 120 and 4 of RAM. 8 doesn't count right here because it's 4 gigabytes off of the..
7:49
What kind of storage? Oh right, it's not even listed what kind of storage we have right here
7:53
So it's some dog shit quality storage that is super slow. That has been converted to additional 4 gigs of RAM
8:00
Let me kind of explain why this doesn't work is because... Let me put it actually in different perspective
8:06
If we could have converted SSD storage into RAM, people would have in their desktop's terabytes of RAM, but it doesn't work because actual RAM is designed to be stupidly fast to read and write on it, and insanely fast speeds, data that will be, that will need to be quickly accessed and also won't stay there permanently
8:29
So it just kind of you know temporarily keeps it there and then gets rid of it once it doesn need it What storage is used is exactly opposite which is to keep data there permanently or as long as you need it to be there
8:43
And it's slower compared to RAM. Therefore, this kind of dog shit scam doesn't actually work
8:51
and it is basically what I said, a scam. You don't have 8 gigabytes of RAM, you have only 4
8:58
And I hate the company started doing this bullshit. Now in any case, to finish this off, it is at the end of the day a budget device
9:07
coming at a little bit, I think a little bit over a hundred bucks
9:11
So if you're looking for burner phone, it will work obviously. But all in all, I would probably, if you're planning to use this on a daily basis, so just
9:21
picking up something that might be made a little bit better as the actual finishing of this
9:27
device, it doesn't really feel well in hand. So for instance, the plastic bezels or frame
9:34
petrudes a little bit over that eco-leather and it just has like a harsh edge
9:40
So fingers can catch on this. It doesn't feel nice. The budget obviously built on here
9:45
also takes massively away from the quality. The resolution of the display also is on a lower end
9:52
The display type is on the lower end. So even add this $100 price range nowadays
9:58
the device are getting pretty decent. even at this price range and this specific phone
10:02
I think doesn't deliver anything that is outside of what you would expect
10:09
I don't know if I'm explaining this correctly. Most devices nowadays that have been released in like 2024
10:15
if there are like the $100 price range, they have at least
10:19
one thing that adds a little bit additional value, like a bigger
10:23
battery, faster charging, or maybe better processor or better resolution for your screen
10:29
or higher refresh rate. Here we have only 90 hertz refresh rate
10:33
which is a little bit over the typical 60, but nowadays there is no device that has been released
10:38
anything in 2024 and even like most of 20, 23, that had 60 hertz
10:43
So again, nothing out of the ordinary here. So I just wanted to kind of point that out
10:50
The build quality right here is the thing that is like the biggest kind of L, I would say
10:56
with the frame, just not feeling, when you're holding it, it just kind of digs into your hand and doesn't feel nice
11:02
And that's for me something that you're going to be holding most of your time. When it doesn't feel nice, I would probably skip it
11:10
But anyway, with that being said, hopefully this video was helpful to you
11:14
And if it was, don't forget to smash like, subscribe, and thanks for watching
