Welcome, my name is Remy Note8 from 2021 and today I'll show you how you can enable the
0:13
power saving mode. So to get started, pull down your notification panel
0:18
Actually, there we go, that's what we're looking for. So once you see your toggles right here, you can expand it and you'll see there's the battery
0:26
saver somewhere between those toggles. So once you find it, tap on it, as you can see it turns yellow, also your battery does
0:34
as well. And that is it, your power saving mode is enabled right now
0:39
Now I'll mention that with power saving enabled, things like Wi-Fi and mobile data will be
0:45
turned off when the device is in sleep mode. And this is considered sleep mode, when it's just simply locked
0:53
It will wait a couple minutes before it disconnects and then it will just turn those off so it
0:57
preserves battery. And because of that, you won't be getting any kind of notifications that would usually
1:01
require an internet connection. So as an example, Messenger, Facebook, WhatsApp, and so on
1:08
Those apps will not give you any kind of notifications that someone is, for instance, trying to contact
1:13
you, just because the app doesn't have access to the network at the moment
1:17
Now when you wake up the device again, like I just did, it will reconnect and basically
1:21
give you all the missing data in bulk. So any kind of messages that you were missing will be delivered the moment you interact
1:29
with the device. Now additionally, you can also expand the battery life by going through the toggles
1:36
right here and turning off some toggles that you don't need. So as an example, if you're not using Wi-Fi, you can just turn it off
1:42
Location, if you don't use it, you can again turn it off. And also we got here, so we got battery or power saving mode enabled, and that's basically
1:58
it from the toggles. Now one most important part of preserving your battery would be the brightness
2:07
Now max brightness like this will obviously reduce your battery and dropping it by half
2:13
even can yield you up to like five hours maybe of battery life
2:21
Let's see if it actually tells me anything in here. Battery saver
2:25
Okay, so it doesn't give me any kind of timers right here. But yeah, dropping your max brightness will give you a significant battery boost
2:33
So if you want to preserve your battery, you might want to change the brightness right here
2:39
Anyway, once you're done with this, you can simply tap on a toggle to turn that off
2:44
And any kind of toggles you turn off along the way, you can re-enable them. So that being said, if you found this very helpful, don't forget to hit like, subscribe

and thanks for watching
