Welcome. In front of me is a Google Pixel 4a and today I'll show you how to access the
0:12
recovery mode on this device. And to get started hold the power key. From there you're going
0:19
to tap on the power off option and once the device shuts off all you need to do is hold
0:23
the power key and volume down. Both keys at the same time. Now before I actually start
0:28
doing it I will mention that once you see the recovery mode or the boot mode in this
0:34
case you want to immediately let go of the keys and do it semi quick. There's a chance
0:40
that once you are letting go of the power key the phone decides to accept the letting
0:45
go of the power key as in as a basically pressing it and then progress further to basically
0:51
reboot the device because that's the first option that is selected. So if your device
0:56
simply reboots after you see the flash of the screen that just means that it just kinda
1:00
accepted it. So let's get to it and see if I can succeed without rebooting the device
1:05
There we go. Okay. So there is the option so if you are letting go the key a little
1:11
bit too slow it basically accepts the start and goes back to Android. But without further
1:17
ado let's use volume keys to scroll down. As you can see the options change here. And
1:21
you want to select recovery mode like so and then press power key to confirm it. Now
1:26
this will bring up the Android with no command option right here. So to get past this all
1:32
you need to do is hold power key and press volume up and this will take you to the recovery
1:37
mode. And again in this mode you will use volume keys to navigate. As you can see volume
1:42
down goes down and up goes up. And you can do a couple different things here so you can
1:46
reboot the device and go back to Android reboot the bootloader which will take us back to
1:50
where we were. Boot to fastboot mode. Apply updates. Wire up the entire device. Launch
1:57
system. View some logs and run some tests along with powering off the device. And whatever
2:03
you select again it will confirm it with power key. So because I want to leave this mode
2:07
I'm gonna stick with the reboot system now. Press power key and this will take me back
2:11
to Android. And there we go we're now back in Android. So if you found this video helpful
