Welcome. In front of me is a THL T7 and today I will show you how to enable the Google backup
0:12
So we'll start off by actually opening up the settings. Put on the notification panel and you'll have the little gear icon at the top
0:20
You can just tap on it and from here scroll down to backup and reset
0:28
And then you have the first option backup my data. Enable that and then you have the option below backup account and tap on our account
0:40
And probably would help if I would sign into Wi-Fi. And so let's try that again
1:11
So right now put in an email address of the Google account. I'm gonna put in mine
1:22
And now put in your password. I'm gonna do the same thing. And then tap on next
1:33
So once you log in you'll be presented with this one which you need to agree to the terms of service of Google. So tap on I agree
1:44
And then you have backup your phones apps and other stuff you can select this
1:49
I mean you should hit select this and then tap on next. And right now it's basically all you need to do and you can also
1:57
go into accounts and as you can see it's right here the one that we've added. And if you click on it you can also choose what you want to sync with the Google account from the
2:08
phone. App data, calendar, contacts, gmails and a bunch of other things
2:14
And if you don't want something you just disable it like so and it won't be syncing with the gmail
2:22
Which probably not the best thing to showcase considering you're still getting emails through
2:28
Google if you're using that account. So calendar for instance and whatever events you have want
2:34
to be synced with the actual calendar so or gmail so they won't be visible for instance on other
2:40
devices. So that is how you enable the Google backup and if you found this video helpful
2:48
don't forget to hit like, subscribe and thanks for watching
