Welcome, and following me is a Sharp Aquis CX and today I'll show you how to
0:10
enter the download mode on the device. So before we get started there is one thing
0:14
that we'll need which is a cable USB type C you can see right here and you
0:20
will need to plug it into your computer and connect it to your device like this
0:25
So once it's connected all you need to do is hold power key and select power
0:29
off and once it's off you will then hold power key and a volume up so power key
0:42
volume up. I'll disregard the Sharp logo it's not actually turning on it's
0:49
gonna show the battery status in a moment if we wait. Okay there it is so
0:57
power key volume up hold both of those keys together and once you see the Sharp
1:03
logo now you can let go so go and we should see after this the Android with
1:11
no command. So once you see the Android with no command all you need to do is
1:17
hold power key and tap volume up once and we're now in the recovery mode so
1:25
you can actually unplug it it's not needed anymore well at least not for me
1:29
if you're actually going through the download mode you will most likely have to have it connected considering you're downloading something from the PC so the
1:36
connection is needed but as a way of showcase it's not anymore. So you'll
1:42
navigate here using volume keys so volume up to go up and down to go down
1:46
and you want to select reboot to bootloader now disregarding that it says
1:51
bootloader instead of download mode once you press the power key to actually
1:54
accept this it will take you to the actual download mode which you will see
1:59
at the top download mode and that's basically it you're now in the download
2:04
mode and if you want to leave this mode you would have to hold power key and
2:08
volume up so power key volume up both keys at the same time till the phone
2:14
shuts off and you can let go immediately after. Now if the device is still plugged
2:24
in there's a chance that it's gonna go back to the recovery mode so if it goes
2:29
back you can just then select reboot system now like you did the same way the
2:36
bootloader but if you unplug the cable it should well it shouldn't be able to
2:42
boot to the recovery mode so it would go like it did for me and as you can see
2:48
we're now in the home screen and that is basically how you would enter and also
2:52
leave the download mode and if you found this very helpful don't forget to hit like subscribe and thanks for watching
