My problem is a Samsung Galaxy S21 and today I'll show you how to enable and set up the Do Not Disturb mode

To get started, let's pull down the notification panel and find the Do Not Disturb toggle somewhere in here

Now I'm going to be looking for it for the first time so it might take me a second

Oh, there it is. So I found it right here. Now if you haven't changed the orientation of your toggles, I believe it should be in the same place

But if it's not, you're just looking for the circle with a cross on it. Well, a slash I guess

And once you find it, hold the toggle and this will take us to the settings where we can change a couple settings of it

So right off the bat we have the toggle right at the top so we can turn it on or off

which is basically the same thing as though we would click it right here. As you can see, it becomes enabled

Now for how long, this will basically give us the option right here, how long we want to turn it on when you tap on the toggle

So we have until I turn it off, which means that when I actually enable it, I will need to turn it off myself

Then we have a time specific one, so by default one hour, but we can add a couple of additional hours if you wanted to

So there we go. Once you enable it, it will run for four hours or again until you tap on it to disable it before the time passes

And then ask every time, which I believe is the best option. So once you actually confirm this and enable it, it will bring up this window every single time

and give you the option if you wanted to select until turn off or for the given time

Now next thing below that, we have a schedule. So we can set up a schedule so that do not disturb mode will turn on and off automatically on a given days of the week and given time

So if we tap on this one, we can actually customize this one, even though it's set to sleep

So it starts at 10 p.m. and ends at 7 a.m. and runs every single day of the week

But if we wanted to, we could, for instance, disable Saturday and Sunday

Let's just say change the time if we wanted to. There we go, whatever

So once you change it, tap on save and voila, we are now good to go

So from there, if you wanted to actually run it, you will need to check it on like so

and then it will turn on at the given time if it's already supposed to be the time to turn on

Now right now I did set it to 10 and because it's already 12, so it did turn on also automatically

which you can, I believe, see based on here. Yeah, it's on, but it doesn't actually show us the name of the schedule

But yeah, that is one way. And then we also have last options right here, which will allow us to customize it

So we have calls, messages, and conversations. So if we tap on it, it gives us a couple options for how the Do Not Disturb mode will be affected

or how the calls and messages and stuff like that will be affected by the Do Not Disturb mode

So for instance, calls can be received from everyone, contacts only, favorites, or no one

Then we have allow repeated callers, which will completely bypass whatever is right here

So at this moment, no one should be able to call us. If we enable this, if someone calls us twice within a 15-minute period

they will be able to reach us basically bypassing whatever is set in the calls

Then we have messages. Again, same as calls, everyone contacts, favorites, and no one, and conversations

all priority conversations or none. Now going back, we do have also alarms and sounds

so just check on which ones you want and which ones you do not want. Want and ops, I believe those are the ops that will be excluded from Do Not Disturb mode

so they will be able to give you notifications even when the mode is enabled

And then we have hide notifications option. So that is all the settings and setup that we can do in here

And like I said before, once you set it up, you can simply tap on it
