Welcome, I'm Flammi the Meizu M8C and today I will show you how to transfer files from
0:11
the device to an SD card or vice versa. So to get started you want to open up the files app which is in the folder called tools
0:18
and there is this yellow folder right here and from here once you open it you will have
0:24
a brief overview of basically all the categories but it doesn't really help us so what we want
0:29
to do is go into all files right here and at the beginning you will see your internal
0:38
storage so from here you have access to all the folders that are on your device and what
0:46
you want to do is just locate wherever your file is if it's either on your device if it's
0:51
on the SD card then you have the folder for SD card right here which for me the files
0:57
that I want to transfer are on the SD card as I can see right now so basically if you're
1:05
trying to transfer photos and the videos that have been captured on the device they will
1:09
be located under the DCIM folder screenshots will be under pictures folder right here any
1:18
kind of things that you have downloaded using Chrome email stuff like that will be in the
1:22
folder called the download right here and that is not very categorized basically anything can
1:28
be in there and anything else is probably placed there by the user so if you want to transfer music
1:34
it probably will be in the music or wherever you have placed it so to get started I'm gonna
1:40
transfer some photos that I have right here as you can see so basically find the files that you
1:48
want to transfer and you can either hold them to get them selected like so and then just stop
1:52
additionally to add the check mark on them you can select all by tapping right here or if you
1:59
have basically countless amount of photos that you don't really feel like transferring this way you
2:05
can also just simply transfer the entire folder like so so also hold it they'll get selected
2:11
whichever one you choose it doesn't really matter it's really a personal preference so once it's
2:19
selected don't tap on more and from here you have the option to copy and move is located right here
2:27
so move will actually remove it from where it is right now and move it to your new desired location
2:33
while copy will create an additional copy of it and keep the old files where they are right now
2:39
so again whichever one you choose it's completely up to you I'm gonna choose move for this purpose
2:45
so right here and then you will see this so we're still in the SD card so we want to go back or
2:54
actually not let's see move and how can I okay there we go so you tap on the gray bar right here
3:02
to go into disk so now we're in the device storage so from here you can place it wherever you want
3:08
but to keep it organized I'm gonna go into DCIM folder the same one just to keep it a little bit
3:17
more organized and once you are in the location where you want to drop it all you need to do is
3:21
just press move here it will start moving and you can see that there's the DCIM folder that I have
3:29
moved and well DCIM folder inside of it all right and if I were to go back to the SD card you can
3:36
see that the folder from here is completely gone and the files can be found right in here
3:42
now the same same way you can transfer any kind of file doesn't need to be photos as you actually
3:49
seen I have done the folder so yeah now if you found this video helpful don't forget to Like

subscribe and thanks for watching
