Here I have Moto G second generation and let me show you how to check barcodes on the following device

At first let's hold down power key for a few seconds, then tap power off and wait until

your device is completely switched off. Afterwards you have to use the following combination of keys, volume down and power key

Let's hold down together these two keys for a few seconds and after about 3 or 5 seconds

just release all keys. As you can see the boot mode just appears in front of you

You can navigate here by using volume down. So let's tap volume down a few times just to highlight barcodes and press volume up

to select it. As you can see the barcodes of your device just pops up

You can read and import any information from the following screen, for example the email

number, the SQU number, the serial number or a date of release

If you would like to edit or just quit this mode simply press volume down or volume up

and now you are in a boot mode one more time. Let's scroll down by using volume down to normal power up and press volume up to select it
