Welcome and follow me as a Pixel 7 Pro and today I'll show you how you can enable your power saving mode on this device

So to get started let's pull down our notifications, extend it and here you'll find a bunch of toggles

One of those will be called Battery Saver. Once you see this, for me it's on the first page so hopefully you can find yours in the same exact place

But once you see it, you can simply tap on it. As you can see it turns on and that's it

It looks like it doesn't change that much visually. So it looks like it's still in dark mode. It might turn on dark mode if it's not on by default

Additionally, it will limit background activities, probably mobile data and Wi-Fi. And additionally, it changes the refresh rate of the display

So right now we're running at 60 I believe. Let's see. Let's open up settings where I can actually view it a little bit better

So yeah, that's 60 obviously. So even though this phone has high refresh rate and it was enabled in power saving mode

it drops it down to 60 just to preserve battery. So there we go. That is how you can enable your power saving mode

Now one more thing that I'll add, just because this device gets pretty bright

One of the most effective way of power saving on your device would be lowering down your brightness

So if you're running it at max brightness, I can lower it down to for instance half

The phone, at least for me, it might not look like that on camera

But for me, this phone is still pretty clear. It's still bright enough for me to use it comfortably without any kind of problems

But just by dropping it half way down with the brightness, I most likely gave this device another 3 hours or more of battery life

Just by this simple little change. So it's a viable thing that you can change if you have that option

Obviously if you're outside in direct sunlight, it might not be a feasible solution for you

But inside, obviously it's pretty nice. Now with that being said, once you're done with your power saving mode

you can simply turn it off by just finding the toggle, tapping on it again, and it will just disable it

But when it comes down to the brightness, you will need to move it up or down yourself
