Here I have Acer Liquid Z4 and let me show you how to enter recovery mode on the following device

At the very beginning hold down power key for a few seconds

When the following menu appears in front of you, simply choose power off and tap OK to

continue the whole operation. Now you should wait until your phone is completely switched off

And then let's use the following combination of keys, volume up and power key

Let's hold down together these two keys for a few seconds

Release both keys as soon as boot mode shows up. You can navigate here by using volume up

So let's scroll down to choose recovery and press volume down to select it

Now the device is going into recovery mode and now all you have to do is simply press

power key in order to open recovery mode menu. As you may see Android system recovery just pops up

If you would like to quit recovery mode simply choose reboot system, it's the first option
