Hi everyone, in front of me I've got a Google Pixel 8 and let me share with you how to change
0:05
keyboard language on this device. So let's start with opening the keyboard. For example
0:13
in the messages, notes, browser, whatever, just have the keyboard on the screen like here and all
0:19
we have to do right now is to simply tap on the settings on this upper panel. Now let's tap on
0:25
the languages and as you can see this is the list of all currently applied languages we've got on
0:30
English. So let's tap on any language and here we've been transferred to the full list of available
0:35
languages from which we can choose. So of course you can scroll, you can simply tap on the search
0:39
icon in the right upper corner and enter the name of the language. I just wanted to show you that
0:43
we've got a lot of language to choose from and for sure you will find one. So after finding simply
0:49
tap on it and sometimes you can pick the region so you can tap. And right here we've got a little
0:55
bit more complicated thing, so the keyboard layouts. Basically it depends on the language
0:59
because sometimes you've got only one keyboard layout or even up to seven different keyboard
1:04
layouts from which you can choose. And all we have to do right now is to simply mark the keyboard we
1:09
want to use and untick the option which we don't want. Of course you can use like two or three
1:15
different layouts, it's up to you. But I will pick this one and simply tap on done. And as you can
1:22
see the Urdu language has been immediately applied to this list. If you want to leave only one language
1:28
so let's pretend that you want to leave only Urdu, you don't need the English anymore, you can remove
1:34
it right now and you will apply only one language. Simply tap on this edit icon in the right upper
1:39
corner, mark the English and tap on the trash bin icon. However I don't want to do it because I'd
1:44
like to also show you how to use the keyboard with two languages applied. So let me go back and
1:50
after that I will show you how to remove the language again. So after getting back to the
1:56
keyboard we will have two differences. Only one is visible right now, it is the globe icon which will
2:01
allow us to change the language. So as you can see right now I'm kind of typing English and
2:08
after tapping on the globe icon I can switch to the Urdu layout. And there is also the second
2:13
option, the spacebar, because it is right now not empty. Here we've got the name of the language we
2:20
are currently using, the layout which is currently on top kind of. And thanks to this we can recognize
2:26
the languages because sometimes the keyboard layouts are pretty similar in between the
2:31
languages. So thanks to this you can actually distinguish particular layouts. All right so
2:39
let me right now remove the language. So let's enter the settings, tap on the languages and as I
2:45
said right here we have to tap on this edit icon. And let me remove Urdu as I have no idea how to
2:51
use this language. I will leave only English. Then let's tap on the trash bin icon and as you can see
2:56
we've got only English left or any other language of your choice. And here we do not have the globe
3:01
icon, the spacebar is empty which means that we've got only one language applied. All right so that
3:07
will be all. Thank you so much for watching. I hope that this video was helpful and if it was
