Welcome, follow me as I say Samsung Galaxy A41 and today I'll show you how to transfer
0:11
files from your device to an SD card and vice versa. So to get started we'll need to find the files app, which I believe it's in the Samsung folder
0:21
right here. My files, open it up and here you should see the two storages
0:28
So you have the internal storage, which is the phone itself and then you have the SD
0:32
card, which is well, SD card. Now we need to find our files and I'm gonna briefly tell you where, what files are located
0:41
so DCIM will contain pictures, videos and sometimes screenshots, looks like screenshots
0:48
as well, screenshots that have been captured with the device itself. Then if we back out of here, you have the downloads folder, which contains files that
0:59
you have downloaded either through a web browser or emails, they all get saved in here
1:06
Then you have music, movies, pictures, usually you will have files there that you have placed
1:13
yourself, otherwise phone doesn't really save anything here and rest of them are not really important
1:22
And same folders usually are created on the SD card as you can see, DCIM, downloads, movies
1:27
music, pictures, so it has basically the same files or folders here
1:34
Now I want to move couple photos which are located in here as you can see
1:39
So to get them selected, number one, you can hold your finger over them and it gets selected
1:45
like so and then simply tap on additional ones to add them on
1:49
You can also tap on the check mark right here to select all, like so, or if you go
1:56
back, here we go, you can select the entire folder along with all of its content
2:06
Just make sure that it's checked and then choose one of the two options, so either move
2:10
or copy, which will do respectively what it says it does, either move it or copy it
2:16
I'm gonna select move and now that move is selected, we want to navigate to the location
2:23
that we wish to move it to. So because the files originated from the device itself, so the internal storage, I'm gonna
2:30
move it to an SD card now. And I could keep it organized and for instance move it into the DCIM, so it will just add
2:37
a camera folder in here now and keep in mind that there is no camera folder or no folder
2:42
whatsoever in here. So let's tap move here and there we go, I have an N for new and the four photos that
2:53
were in there are still here and we are now on the SD card
2:57
If I back up, you can see that there is the camera folder now and in the previous location
3:03
we also had, I think, screenshots, so if we go back here, you will see that screenshots
3:08
still remained in the old location. Now the camera folder is completely gone
3:14
But that is how you would copy any kind of file from one place to another and if you
