Welcome, my name is Sony Xperia 10 Mark III and today I'll show you how to record a
0:12
screen on this phone. So to get started you'll want to simply pull down your
0:17
notification panel, expand it and look for the toggle which for me is on the
0:20
second page right over here. Looks like this and once you find it tap on it. You
0:26
get a couple options right here so we can record audio from microphone. Okay we
0:31
have the drop-down menu so we can choose from here also device audio microphone
0:35
or both of them. Now for the last one that both mic and device I do recommend
0:41
you to use headphones either some wireless ones or wired because it does
0:47
have a jack and that is because when you start recording both sounds the device
0:52
will record internal sounds so the for instance like whatever the game would be
0:56
making as an example internally and then it comes through a speaker and gets also
1:01
picked up by a microphone which is supposed to be picking up only your voice. So that will create an echo effect that you might not really want in your
1:09
recording. So like I said do use headphones for this and that will
1:14
resolve that problem because you will be hearing sounds through your earbuds or
1:18
headphones or whatever you're using and the phone will be recording that sound
1:23
internally and also the microphone which pick up whatever you're talking whenever
1:28
you're talking. So yeah I'm gonna select right here device audio and then also
1:34
last option here is show touch on screen meaning that whenever you touch the
1:39
display it will show semi-transparent dot where your finger was pressing on a
1:43
screen so on the video recording it will be fairly apparent what you were
1:47
clicking on how you were dragging your finger and so on. Now those are a couple
1:52
settings right here we can also get rid of this and tap and hold on the toggle
1:58
just hold it hopefully. Oh no never mind there is no settings additional so my
2:05
bad. So yeah I guess that's all we have so I just toggle both of these off go
2:11
like this and start recording as you can see it starts to count down from three
2:15
and then starts recording and you can also see right now this tiny little dot
2:21
that is following my finger. You can open up apps in here and record whatever you
2:26
want. I'm gonna look for one more just as an example Netflix specifically this one
2:34
just because it's Netflix it won't actually work properly. Netflix is blocking video recording themselves. I'm gonna stop it right now. So what I mean
2:45
by that is Netflix just tries to prevent you from recording their TV
2:49
shows and stuff like that through screen recording so when you're trying to do this even when you open the app it literally blocks any kind of screen
2:57
recording straight from the get-go and that will result in you just having a
3:01
completely black screen with sound. So just for the people that were interested
3:07
in doing this don't bother it won't work I tried it it simply does not. Now anyway
3:14
once you finish up your video recording you can then find it in your photos
3:19
application. Now it will be normally under under screen recordings I believe
3:26
and an album called screen recordings but because I only have this single
3:30
recording it shows it right from well right on the main page of photos as you
3:37
can see right here. Normally if you have more it creates these two albums right
3:41
here so you have photos or something like that and then albums and you can go in there and you will find screenshots as an example downloads and so on and
3:49
you want to look for the screen recorder one. So anyway this is how you record
3:55
your screen and also where you can find that footage and if you found this very helpful don't forget to hit like subscribe and thanks for watching
