hardly set the device through recovery mode and this process will remove a

screen lock if you have one that you don't know. Additionally it will also remove everything that is on the device so if you don't know your PIN, pattern, password

and you would like to keep things that are on there, you kind of don't have that

choice here. So anyway let's get started. As you can see I do have a pattern set and

I'll progress from here as though I wouldn't know it. So to get started we

will need to power it off by holding the power key. And give it a second. Once it

turns off you want to hold power key and the volume up at the same time. So let's

start right now. Now for some weird reason it doesn't actually boot into recovery mode

straight away. So last time I accessed it by going into the bootloader

From here we're gonna again select using volume keys recovery mode. Confirm it

with power key. It's right now in the process of booting back up

Now once you see this screen right over here we're gonna hold power key press

volume up once. And as you can see this will boot us into actual recovery mode

Now in here again using volume keys you want to scroll down and select wipe data

Select to reset. Confirm it with power key and select yes. Delete all user data

It will give you a message data wipe complete at which point reboot system

now will be selected by default. So press power key once again. It will give you a

message rebooting and it's gonna continue the process in the background. So this will take a couple minutes to finish up but once it has finished it
