Hi everyone. In front of me I've got a Google Pixels One Pro and let me share
0:04
with you how to block a number on this device. So basically we've got two different ways to block a number. The first one
0:13
requires a saved number so we can do it using our contact list or we can do it
0:20
using the settings. Of course I'll show you both options. And I'd like to begin
0:24
with the contacts. So let's tap on the dialer, enter the contacts and find
0:29
the contact you'd like to edit, actually block. Now let's tap on the three
0:35
dots icon in the right upper corner and as you can see here we've got the option
0:39
block numbers. So let's tap. Your device will ask you if you really want
0:45
to block the number because you will no longer receive any incoming calls or
0:49
text messages from it. So I don't want to report it as a spam so let me
0:55
untick this option and tap on block. And as you can see here we've got this
1:00
characteristic icon, what's more it is notified here that this number is
1:05
blocked. Of course you can unblock it the same way just by tapping on the three
1:09
dots icon and tapping on unblock numbers but let me leave it like this. We will
1:13
check if it will actually appear on the blacklist. So let's go back and here let
1:19
me show you the second way to block a number and let's say this way is kind of
1:24
manual so you do not have to have the number saved on your contacts. So here in
1:30
this way it doesn't really matter if you will be on the contacts, recents or favorites. Just tap on the three dots icon in the right upper corner and enter
1:37
the settings. Now in the general section we've got blocked numbers so let's enter
1:42
and as you can see this is our blacklist. So that's the number we just blocked
1:47
from our contacts, everything went fine, we successfully blocked it and as I said
1:53
here you can enter the number manually. So let's tap on add a number and as you
1:56
can see right here we've got the section in which we can use our keypad. We can
2:01
simply enter the number, tap on block and it will be immediately applied to the
2:06
to the blacklist. What's more here we've got the option unknown and it simply
2:10
means that after picking it, after activating it just by tapping on the switcher, your device will be allowed to to block the calls from all unidentified
2:20
callers. So it may be quite useful if you've got some annoying numbers calling
2:26
you. Of course you can turn it off the same way and if you'd like to unblock
2:30
the number just tap on this X button right next to it and confirm it with
2:34
tapping on unblock. So basically that's all. This is how to block a number in
2:39
your Google Pixel 7 Pro. Thank you so much for watching. I hope that this video
