If I'm a phone on me is an iPhone 13, and today I will show you how to sync music from your computer to the device
0:14
So if you are one of those people that still uses physical music, as in like physically copy to your device
0:20
so you're on your internet connection, then this is specifically for you. And to be honest, I'm one of those people
0:25
I adore having music on my device rather than needing constant. needing constant internet connection
0:32
So no need for any premium subscriptions and any crap like that. Everything just works
0:37
Go into your music and you can play whatever the heck you want. So anyway, let's get started
0:43
You'll need iTunes on your windows and if you're using a Mac, just open up your music application
0:48
I believe that's how it's called. And on the music application, you will also see your iPhone
0:53
and if you're using Windows, you recommend you need to have iTunes and when you plug it in
0:57
it should show up right here. here there we go and additionally if you're using that Windows you can download iTunes
1:04
only through Microsoft Store so once you get it from there you can launch it and
1:09
everything should go smoothly now before I used to say that iTunes is limiting
1:17
I mean it's still kind of is but at least they change one thing so nowadays
1:21
you have choice of syncing your music and also still have the freedom to copy it manually which is not the case before and until recently I thought that it still worked like that so I was wrong about it So I just going to clarify that right now you can do both at the same time nowadays
1:39
So now to describe how each one of them works, the easy or the longer way, but one that I actually prefer to do
1:49
as by selecting each song manually, as you can see, you can select each other song you want, and then you will just grab it, drag it over, drop it
1:56
and you're set. You can see it copies it. And now it's done
2:01
So if I open up my music application, go to the library. And for instance, artists
2:06
You can see there's the two artists. I only copied two artists, apparently
2:12
But let's see. Songs, there's a little bit more. So how many is here
2:17
Seven. And we got, yep, seven songs. As you can see, these are the songs that I copied right now
2:23
So that is one way you can do it. manually selecting each song or entire like groups of them if you wanted to or all of them if you want to do
2:31
so you want to select all you can see and from there drag it and drop it now this is 280 songs
2:41
which will take probably like five minutes copies i'm not going to go into it but that's one way now
2:48
the other way you can do it is by going into your phone selecting music sync remove and
2:54
sync and now you have two options of syncing it now the way this works it is quite convenient because if for instance you sync up your entire library if you have the space on your device this one most certainly does
3:11
So if you go with sync entire library, whenever you add new songs to iTunes and you connect your device to your computer
3:17
it will automatically add the new songs that have added to iTunes to your device. It will always keep it at the same state as it is in iTunes
3:27
So that's kind of neat. Now you can additionally go into just selective sync
3:35
which will allow you to either select playlist. If you have playlist, I don't, that's why this is empty
3:40
You can select artists, scroll down, you have genres and albums. And if as an example you add something like Imagine Dragons, whatever
3:49
pentatonic, Royal Deluxe, whatever, I just select a couple, right? And you do apply now
3:57
Apparently unknown error has occurred yet it's sinking. I'm just going to let it sync
4:07
So right now it's sinking 38 songs. As you can see, and I am sinking only artists right now
4:15
So you can see them right here right now. They just changed, appeared
4:20
Additionally, the songs that we have put on manually got removed. That's kind of the downside of it
4:24
If you go with sync secondly, it will remove. whatever you have manually added to the device Now like I mentioned you can still now reselect whatever you want want so drag it over and boom it adds nine more songs so that is allowed but going back to the sync option as you can
4:46
see I have right now synced for artists and if as an example I add more songs from one of those
4:52
artists and then plug in my device it will automatically add the new songs that are in iTunes to the
4:57
iPhone which does actually provide a little bit of an easier way to deal with things
5:01
It's really convenient to be honest now that it actually allows you as well
5:06
adding songs manually. So yeah, honestly now I would probably recommend you to go with this
5:13
method and if you want to add some songs manually but for instance there are some new
5:18
artists and you don't want to re-sync it you can just manually drag it over and drop it which is
5:22
probably going to be the easiest way. Additionally if you go with syncing entire library
5:26
whatever you add to it, it will automatically be always added to your iPhone. But anyway, concluding this, as you can see, that's basically how you can sync your music
5:36
It's fairly simple and straightforward. And once you sync it up, you can basically disconnect from anything that you want
5:42
The music is stored locally on your phone. So all you really need to do is pop in some headphones and get going listening to your music
5:49
So anyway, if you found this very helpful, don't forget to hit like, subscribe, and thanks for watching
