Here I have Lenovo A850 and let me show you how to set up screen lock on the following device

So let's start from the home screen, let's tap apps icon, then let me find and select settings

Now you have to go to the personal tab and choose security, select screen lock and now

you can choose none, swipe, pattern, pin or password. Let me choose pattern and you have to draw your unlocked pattern, let's tap continue
