Welcome and welcome to Samsung Galaxy Note 10+. And today I'll show you how to
0:12
transfer photos and videos from for instance the internal storage to an SD
0:17
card and vice versa. Now imagine that this also applies to files and
0:21
everything else not only just photos and videos. And to get started you want to go
0:26
into the app drawer and open up files app. So there's Samsung and my files
0:31
right here. And as you can see there is two different storages. So there is the
0:35
internal storage which is the built-in storage of the phone and then
0:39
the SD card that is in the device. So my photo is located on the SD card. If you
0:46
want to move it from SD card to the phone or from internal to the SD card
0:51
the process is exactly the same. And both of the both of the storages have the
0:57
same folder where the photos are being stored. So assuming the photos that we
1:01
want to move are created by the camera, they will be always under DCIM folder as
1:07
you can see right here. And camera. And if you're taking video I believe there will
1:11
be another folder called video that you would find only the video under. But
1:17
there is the photo. So you want to either select the entire folder that you want
1:24
to move. If there is multiple photos and you want all of them you just hold your
1:28
finger over it to select it like so. And as you can see it's selected right here
1:33
And then you can copy it or cut it or move it as it's here. So move or copy. Or
1:40
you can also if I deselect it, you can go into the folder and select each file
1:48
individually that I want to move. Now there's only one here so not the
1:52
greatest example but assuming there will be more. I could for instance only select
1:56
one or two of them. And then I can like I said previously move it or copy it. Now
2:03
for this example I'm gonna copy it but if you want to remove it from the
2:06
storage and move it to let's say your phone memory then you can select to move
2:12
Okay so from here I'm gonna go back to the other storage which is the internal
2:19
storage of the device. Right here. I'm gonna move it to the DCIM and I guess I
2:26
can move it to screenshot. And once you're in the folder that you want to move it to all you do is simply tap on copy here and it will copy it to whatever
2:34
folder you are located in at the moment. And there it is as you can see. So that
2:39
is how you would move photos, videos or any kind of file. And if you found this
