on this device. So obviously you can see that my phone right here is locked, and to unlock it I would either

need to provide the pattern that was set before or using Google account

Now assuming we don't know either of those, what we can do is simply go back to the

first page, so let's just back out, choose emergency call, and in here you want to type

in this sequence of numbers, so star, hash, I know I know those aren't actually numbers

but these will be. So 8, 13, and once you press hash, I believe it starts, yep, there we go

So star, hash, 8, 13, hash, and basically that closes the setup screen

So from here what you can do, or what you need to do, is go into the settings, scroll

down to, I believe it's additional settings, then select backup and reset, and choose erase

all data, factory reset, and again erase all data right here. I guess once more, and once more, five times is enough, maybe once more

So this will basically force the device into factory reset, and normally the device would

still be locked if you did it in reset, but doing it through settings basically removes

all the data from the device, including Google accounts. That is only when it's done through settings

but at that point the device will be fully unlocked. So from there you can set it up as however you like
