Welcome. In front of me is a Xiaomi 12 Lite and today I'll show you how we can

put this phone into safe mode. So to get started let's hold the power key and

choose power off and once the phone turns off you want to hold power and

volume up at the same time. So I'm gonna do that right now. Now when you see the

Mi logo you can let go of those two keys and we should be then booted into

recovery mode. There we go. And in here you'll need to use volume keys in order

to select obviously safe mode. So let's do so right now. Volume down. Once it's

selected you wanna press power key. This will confirm it, reboot the device and

take you into the safe mode. Now just to quickly explain what safe mode is, it's a

mode designed to troubleshoot your phone and in the way where all the apps that

you have installed will be temporarily disabled so you can get rid of them if

you have some kind of problem with them. Other than that those installed apps

will not work and only apps that you can use are the ones that came pre-installed

with the device. So in a second we should see our home screen or at least lock

screen. So there we go. You can see we have a little marking right here in the

corner, safe mode, just so we are aware that we are right now in this mode. And

there we go. Once it boots up it just looks semi-normal as you can see. The

only difference is you probably might see a bunch of empty spots on your home

screen. Those spots would normally be where some of your installed apps would

be located but in safe mode the device just kind of hides them from your home

screen so you just don't see them at all. Now you could locate them if you for

instance, I don't know, maybe you developed some app that is just screwing

up your device completely to the point that you can't use it. And here you can just uninstall it by going into the settings and for instance navigating to

apps, manage apps and you can see all of your installed applications on your

phone including the ones that aren't right now visible on the home screen or

in the app drawer. Now once you're done with this mode and you want to go back to

normal one you just hold the power key and select reboot. This will reboot the
