Here I have Huawei P10 and let me show you how to enter download mode on the following phone

So at the very beginning let's use your power key just to switch off your device, then press

power off and touch power off one more time just to confirm the whole operation

Wait until your device will be completely switched off and afterwards you have to prepare

a micro USB cable connected to your PC. Here I have such a cable and all you have to do right now is start holding two keys

volume down and volume up. Let's hold down together these two keys for a few seconds, keep holding both keys and

connect your phone by using micro USB cable

Press all keys as soon as Huawei logo pops up on the screen and wait a couple of seconds

As you can see the phone goes into a download mode and the phone is trying to install update

If you actually doesn't install any update you can quit this mode by long pressing power
